What does MEDVi cost?

MEDVi’s medication cards and pricing FAQ, rechecked for advertised prices on October 26, 2026, distinguish these options. These are displayed offers; a selected invoice, supply and recurring payment schedule have not been verified:

The branded cards do not give an all-in total. The page also has general “no membership” wording, so ask which terms apply to your selected plan. Do not treat the $99 figure as a complete medication price or assume the tablet starting price is its refill price.

Before calculating a semaglutide budget: confirm the first payment, refill amount, quantity supplied, renewal dates and any separate charges for the selected plan. The advertised introductory and refill figures alone do not establish a complete three-month total. Tablet and branded options need their own itemized prices.

Which medications and formats does MEDVi list?

The current cards list weekly GLP-1 injections, daily dissolvable GLP-1 tablets, Wegovy Pill, Wegovy injection and Zepbound injection. The general GLP-1 cards do not fully identify each formulation. Confirm the ingredient and dispensing pharmacy on your actual prescription. We could not verify the older tirzepatide-specific tablet price or $1,999 Ozempic offer from these cards.

A compounded dissolvable tablet is not interchangeable with an approved oral product. For example, the Wegovy prescribing information specifies that its tablets are swallowed whole, not dissolved, and describes a particular dosing schedule. Evidence for that product does not establish the absorption or effectiveness of a different tablet formulation.

FDA explains that compounded GLP-1 medicines are not FDA approved and have not undergone its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. FDA recommends their use only when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug. A clinician’s prescription does not turn a compounded product into an FDA-approved medicine.

Do medication trials prove MEDVi works?

They support particular medicines and regimens, not MEDVi’s service or every compounded product. Two relevant studies show why the exact product matters:

• Weekly injections: SURMOUNT-5 randomized 751 adults with obesity without type 2 diabetes. At 72 weeks, average weight change was −20.2% with maximum-tolerated tirzepatide 10 or 15 mg and −13.7% with semaglutide 1.7 or 2.4 mg. This open-label, Eli Lilly-funded study did not test MEDVi, compounded tablets, oral Wegovy or Wegovy HD 7.2 mg. Gastrointestinal events were the most common adverse events.
• Oral semaglutide: OASIS 4 randomized 307 adults with obesity, or overweight with a related complication, without diabetes. Daily oral semaglutide 25 mg plus lifestyle intervention produced −13.6% average weight change versus −2.2% with placebo at week 64. Gastrointestinal events occurred in 74.0% versus 42.2%. This blinded, Novo Nordisk-funded trial did not test a compounded dissolvable tablet.

These are published-paper estimates from different trials, not a three-way comparison or a forecast of your results. MEDVi describes its own outcome claims as patient self-reports on its website. We have not independently verified those outcomes or a representative customer sample.

Safety and suitability

The Wegovy and Zepbound labels include boxed thyroid C-cell tumor warnings and contraindications for a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. They also describe gastrointestinal and other serious risks. Review your medical history, other medicines and pregnancy plans with the prescriber; price and delivery format cannot establish suitability.

For a compounded prescription, ask the prescriber or pharmacist to explain its concentration, measurement instructions and storage requirements. FDA has received reports of dosing errors with compounded injections, including some requiring hospitalization. This is a general product risk, not a measured MEDVi adverse-event rate.

How prescribing and support work

MEDVi connects patients with independent clinicians and pharmacies. Its Terms say payment does not guarantee a prescription. The public site advertises ongoing support; it does not establish a guaranteed clinician response time. Ask who handles clinical questions, refills and billing before you enroll.

Cancellation and refunds

MEDVi’s cancellation policy requires notice at least 72 hours before the next billing date, through hello@medvi.org or patient-portal chat. Keep confirmation of your request.

The policy lists refunds for medical disqualification and an initial cancellation within 72 hours if no services have been received. It also describes unused, unshipped months on multi-month plans, while later using broader restrictive refund wording. Monthly cancellations generally do not refund the current or previous months. Obtain written confirmation for your situation; a promotional guarantee is not an unconditional refund promise.

Who should consider MEDVi?

MEDVi may suit someone comparing online care and home delivery who is prepared to verify the exact product and recurring charge. It is harder to compare if you need a complete branded-medication price before intake. Choosing a compounded tablet requires a separate evidence discussion; convenience alone is not proof that it works like the product studied in a trial.

Is MEDVi medication FDA approved?

That depends on the prescription. Approved branded products and compounded medicines have different regulatory status. A platform listing, licensed pharmacy or clinician’s approval does not confer FDA approval on a compounded drug.

Does the first-month price continue?

On October 26, 2026, the linked semaglutide FAQ advertised $99 for the first month and $199 for refills. Confirm the selected product, supply, renewal dates and any additional charges. The tablet and branded cards have different pricing structures; confirm their renewal terms separately.

Are MEDVi tablets the same as Wegovy Pill?

Do not assume so. MEDVi lists a dissolvable GLP-1 tablet separately from Wegovy Pill. Ask for the exact product name and formulation; the OASIS 4 result above cannot be assigned to an unidentified tablet.
